Announcement About Course Registration / Registration Renewal Procedures for the Spring Semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year

In our university, the 2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Semester courses on the dates specified in our University's Academic calendar (published on our website) will start.
All registered students (except preparatory class) must complete their course registration/renewal processes within the specified periods through the Student Information System (OBS), and the registration renewal periods will not be extended.

Students who do not complete their course registration within the specified period and in accordance with the procedure; cannot attend the courses, cannot take the exams of these courses, cannot benefit from student rights for this semester, and the elapsed time is included in the education period.
During the course registration/renewal process, the contribution fee/tuition fee; can be learned from the "Fee Information" menu on the Student Information System (https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/ogrenci/login.aspx) and after paying the contribution fee/tuition fee by specifying the student number to any branch of Vakıflar Bank in Turkey or via internet banking, the course registration process is completed.
Payment via internet banking; is done by selecting our University from the payments/other payments/education payments menu and using student numbers.
In the process of depositing the contribution fee/tuition fee, definitely no Transfer/EFT transaction should be made.
Students who need to complete the course registration process after paying the contribution fee/tuition fee;
Second education and distance education program students, (including preparatory class)
First education students who have completed the program duration, (including students within the maximum education period or those who have completed the maximum education period)
Students enrolled in a second higher education institution, (of the last enrolled program)
Undergraduate completion students,
Students accepted from abroad (foreign nationals),
cannot complete the course registration process without paying the contribution fee/tuition fee.
Students who need to complete the course registration process without paying the contribution fee/tuition fee;
All students studying within the program duration in first education can complete their course registration processes without paying the contribution fee.
Students who only have the mandatory internship left to graduate can complete their course registration processes and internship work without paying the contribution fee/tuition fee.

The path to follow during the registration renewal process through the Student Automation System:
* For the course registration process, log in to the Student Information System. In the Course and Term Transactions menu
press the "Course Registration" button. After selecting the courses on the opened screen, use the "Check" button to check the courses. Then the "Finalize" button will appear. By pressing the "Finalize" button, the courses you have finalized will be sent to your academic advisor's page from the system. After the approval of the academic advisor, your course registration will be completed.
* The student and the academic advisor determine the added or removed courses together.
* The course registrations of students who select courses are finalized after the control and approval of the academic advisor.
* Courses that are not approved by the academic advisor cannot be registered and are not considered as registered.
IMPORTANT: Every transaction related to course selection and registration renewal is recorded by date, time, and user. Therefore, all responsibility belongs to the student who registers for the course and renews the registration and their academic advisor.
