ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT LAW NO. 7417 ON AMNESTY

Until the end of working hours on 07 November 2022

Those Performing Military Service

:

Within 2 months following their discharge

Those Unable to Apply Due to Force Majeure

:

Within one month from the date the force majeure ceases to exist (provided it is documented)

Those Unable to Apply Due to Health Reasons

:

Until the end of working hours on 05/12/2022, provided they submit their medical board report

           

According to the provisions of the Provisional Article 83 added to the Higher Education Law No. 2547 with Article 35 of the Law No. 7417, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 05 July 2022 and numbered 31887 and entered into force;

Those Who Can Benefit from the Provisional Article 83 Provision

Students studying in all classes including preparatory, adaptation, associate degree, undergraduate completion, undergraduate, and graduate education in higher education institutions, until the date this article comes into force,

·  Including those who voluntarily severed their ties

·  Those whose ties were severed for any reason

·  Those who did not register despite having the right to enroll in a program

Those whose ties were severed or who did not register despite being placed by ÖSYM before the date this article came into force on 5 July 2022, and who apply to the higher education institution where their ties were severed or where they gained the right to enroll by 07 November 2022,

Those who were performing military service on 05 July 2022 and apply to the relevant unit where their ties were severed within 2 months following their discharge, can benefit from it.

Those Who Cannot Benefit from the Provisional Article 83 Provision

1)              Those convicted of terrorism offenses and intentional homicide (articles 81, 82, and 83), torture (articles 94 and 95), torment (article 96), sexual assault (article 102), sexual abuse of children (article 103), manufacturing and trading of drugs or stimulants (article 188), and those whose registration was canceled due to false documents,

2)               Those who provide false documents during registration,
